Pages of our story

I start this halfway through,
For my beginning lies with you,
Locked away in the floating depths of memories,
Where this un-fading ink dyes our pages,
To tell our tales
And last forever,
These unspoken words hang in the air,
Waiting to be heard-
But only by you,
If you could just see my heart,
To see it only beats for you alone, then-
You would know,
You would know that, in the dark when they call to me,
I only think of you,
You would know that, only you can make me true,
You’re everything that sees me through,
But can you hear these words from me to you?

Echoing in my mind, I hear
All we’ve ever said and,
Through my eyes I see, imprinted all over the pages,
Our story,
Blossoming as life goes on,
How I hope it lasts forever,
For there to be no end to these pages,
And this ink will never cease to scar,
These pages beneath.
